Carlota Rodríguez se unió a nosotros hace casi 5 años, y no ha dejado de sorprendernos cada día con sus capacidades, su gran espíritu de superación y su autenticidad.
A lo largo de sus 56 años, ha logrado hacerse a este mundo lleno de cambios, aprendiendo a leer, a escribir, contar… y con ello sacarse el graduado escolar; manejarse en transporte público para acudir a su domicilio familiar y biblioteca, entre otras cosas. Entre sus aficiones está la lectura, acude a grupos destinados al debate sobre libros que tienen que leer cada mes, lo que fomenta sus ganas por salir y descubrir mundo. Además de ello, Carlota es una residente muy familiar tanto dentro como fuera de nuestras instalaciones. Ha querido formar parte de nuestro apartado “Relatos de una residente” explicándonos cómo vive ella la Navidad a través del teclado. Recientemente se está involucrando en el mundo tecnológico, y es que…¡a ella no se le pone nada por delante!
“Hola, me llamo Carlota y voy a escribir sobre mi Navidad. En Navidad se celebra el nacimiento de Dios, y todas las familias nos reunimos para celebrarlo. Tanto la Nochebuena como el día de Navidad son los días más especiales del año, donde toda la familia nos reunimos en torno a la mesa y estamos todos juntos y unidos.
Yo esos días los paso en familia y con amigos, pasamos todos un buen rato todos juntos. También hacemos el amigo invisible, pero no puedo decir todavía quien me ha tocado, es secreto. El día de Nochevieja nos reunimos los cinco en casa, mi hermana, mi cuñado, mis dos sobrinos y yo. Cenamos y luego celebramos la llegada del nuevo año. Mis sobrinos normalmente salen después de tomar las uvas y el día de Año Nuevo comemos todos juntos. Estamos muy unidos. Por último, celebramos los Reyes Magos y mi hermana es la que más disfruta. Así es como pasamos mi familia y yo la Navidad. Y que no nos falte nadie.”
