La Terapia Ocupacional es una ciencia socio-sanitaria que, a través de actividades terapéuticas, busca favorecer a las personas a ser independientes 💪🏼y tener mejor calidad de vida.
En la Fundación Astier Centro San José, nuestra terapeuta ocupacional África, se encarga de potenciar las habilidades de las mujeres residentes para aumentar el nivel de participación y favorecer el proceso de inclusión comunitaria🤩. Utilizando actividades y ocupacionales que tienen sentido, significado y coherencia con la vida de las personas.☺️

1️⃣Analizar las ocupaciones, tareas y actividades de forma personalizada.
2️⃣Adaptar los objetos y las actividades en cualquier entorno para hacerlo más accesible.
3️⃣Estimular y potenciar el área sensorial-emocional-psicomotor de las personas residentes mediante actividades cotidianas reales.
4️⃣Potenciar las habilidades manuales, pinza fina, botones, cierres, cordones, velcros en ropa o accesorios.
5️⃣Favorecer el equilibrio sensorial a través de las terapias.
6️⃣La habilitación de un hábito, rutina y/o rol.
7️⃣La inclusión psicosocial a través de una ocupación significativa en el contexto socio-comunitario.
8️⃣Asesorar y entrenar en el uso de productos de apoyo.
9️⃣Fomentar la autonomía en las actividades del día a día.
🔟Ejercer la intervención desde la práctica centrada en la persona.
